Job summary

Sia in New York City seeks a cybersecurity professional to join the Cybersecurity & AI Trust team, working hybrid on site three days a week. You will lead end-to-end projects, contribute to proposals, manage client relationships, and guide consultants.

The role requires a cybersecurity degree and at least three years in consulting or cybersecurity services, knowledge of standards (ISO 270xx, NIST, NYDFS), and familiarity with networks, cloud, and platforms.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a Cybersecurity degree or a related field from an accredited college/university, you have at least 3 years of experience with a consulting firm or a Cybersecurity solutions/service provider/integrator.
• You master some Cybersecurity standards, norms and/or reference systems of the market, notably ISO 270xx, , NIST, NYDFS, FFIEC, etc.
• You have actively participated in successful projects/missions where you have developed a solid knowledge of at least two of our 8 offerings listed above;
• Strong communication, critical thinking, writing and presentation skills.
• You have a general knowledge of IP networks, operating systems (Unix/Linux, Windows and/or MacOs), Cloud (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), applications (Web Server, DB, Middleware, etc.) as well as cryptography; knowledge in Blockchain would be a plus.
• You are familiar with the major market solutions and technologies of: Endpoint Security, VPN, VSX, Proxy/Reverse Proxy, EDR, IAM, MDM, DLP, CASB, Office 365 Security, etc.
• Holds or is willing to obtain industry or cybersecurity certification.
• An exception will be made for high potential profiles who do not have these certifications. They will join our internal Cyber Training program within the Sia Cyber Institute for the preparation of Cybersecurity certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end projects or be responsible for sub-projects within complex and/or international projects, ensuring relevant, proactive and regular reporting to the Manager and Client to guarantee that our commitments are met.
• Take part in business development by contributing to design and development of commercial proposals, as well as by identifying new opportunities and clients.
• Manage the client relationship across your engagements and build strong relationships with your client-side contacts who recognize you as an expert in your assigned tasks.
• You will be responsible formanaging consultants in the context of projects or internal projects, where you will act as a point of reference liaison for the Manager/Senior Manager regarding the project follow-ups, the validation of deliverables, the evaluation of achievements, and above all you will ensure the development of their soft and technical skills.
• In addition, as part of your participation in the internal development of the firm, you will contribute to:
• The Cybersecurity team’s internal initiatives, such as Learning and Development, Squads, Lunch and Learns, Cyber Events, and more.
• The firm's eminence, around our Cybersecurity expertise, by actively contributing to the publication plan (articles, white papers, studies, webinars, etc.), and represents the firm at various professional clubs, trade shows and events.
