The Manager of Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance at Huntington National Bank leads the execution of strategic cybersecurity initiatives, governance processes, and cross-functional coordination with cybersecurity and business units. The role translates strategy into actionable workstreams, drives control maturity, and supports innovation enablement to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or governance.
• 3+ years using cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, FFIEC CAT, ISO 27001, CRI).
• 3+ years with regulatory and risk management in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Support design and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and risk goals.
• Operationalize the Strategy, Governance, and Innovation roadmap with cybersecurity leadership.
• Track progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies for leadership.
• Refine strategy to address threats, tech advances, and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate governance forums, meeting materials, charters, and action follow-ups.
• Maintain cybersecurity risk and control matrices reflecting current ownership.
• Collect and validate inputs into risk assessments and self-assessments.
• Close audit issues and regulatory findings related to cybersecurity.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity metrics and dashboards for leadership.
• Automate reporting processes to reduce manual data collection.
• Lead cross-functional working groups and cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology to ensure cohesive execution.
• Support teams with policy, controls, or governance clarification.
