Job summary

The Air Force Civilian Service seeks a full-time IT Cybersecurity Specialist (CUSTSPT/SYSADMIN) to support RMF activities and cyberspace systems at JBSA-San Antonio, TX. The role emphasizes advanced IT services, architecture development, and secure system sustainment in a defense environment.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance, and pursue required certifications within set timeframes.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance; NDA required.
• DAWIA certification within 9 months of duties.
• Information Assurance Certification within 6 months of assignment.
• Knowledge of IT systems analysis and RMF to evaluate new IT security methods.
• Knowledge of weapon systems, C2 processes, and operational activities.
• Ability to predict future IT requirements and align with business needs.
• Drug testing position.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT services supporting architecture development, software development, and RMF activities.
• Design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems to integrate with cyber environments.
• Maintain awareness of advances in technology and adapt to meet requirements.
