Job summary

Cherokee Insights is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist – Mid to support the Behavioral Threat Analysis Center. The role focuses on reviewing, identifying, and developing interventions to protect enterprise security against insider threats. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

The position offers hybrid work in Arlington, VA with remote options, and a salary range of $185,000–$215,000 per year. The successful candidate will participate in high-level security operations and threat intelligence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• 10+ years advising security professionals on threats.
• Experience with DoW/IC standards and government requirements.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence, threat hunting, and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information systems using best practices and security methodologies.
• Coordinate with DoW Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC).
• Support forensic analysis of digital information.
• Recommend threat-appropriate countermeasures for systems.
• Design security solutions enabling DoW to detect and respond to threats.
• Develop action plans for policy, governance, and incident response.
• Perform other related job duties.
