Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cybersecurity engineering, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and security automation initiatives across distributed systems. You will coordinate with engineers, admins, architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong project management and knowledge of NIST controls, RMF, and security frameworks. This contract-to-hire position is based in Orlando, with an initial onsite setup and potential hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience managing cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, RMF, authorization, audit-readiness, or compliance-remediation projects.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, RMF and authorization activities, POA&M management, vulnerability management and remediation, security control implementation and verification.
• Experience with AWS environments and security automation or enterprise reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage technical cybersecurity and compliance projects across programs and locations.
• Build integrated project plans, roadmaps, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities with system administrators, cybersecurity engineers, architects and compliance teams.
• Track remediation, POA&Ms, and control implementations through closure.
• Facilitate sprint planning, architecture reviews, and status meetings.
