Job summary

The Aspen Institute seeks a Program Coordinator for its Cybersecurity Programs in Washington, DC. You will support executive leadership, manage calendars, prepare briefing materials, and coordinate meetings and events across domestic and global engagements.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of program coordination or operations experience in a nonprofit or policy setting, strong attention to detail, and comfort with Slack, Zoom, Outlook, and Google Suite.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in program coordination, executive support, or operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and collaborate across teams.
  • Interest in cybersecurity and technology policy issues.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain calendars, prepare briefing materials, coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Draft emails, memos, and meeting materials; track follow-ups.
  • Process expenses and vendor payments; manage office supplies and inventory.
  • Provide general coordination support for cybersecurity convenings and events.
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed.
