Job summary

Grameen America is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead and coordinate the organization’s cybersecurity program. You will report to the CTO and work with our vCISO partner to ensure a strong security posture and regulatory compliance.

The role involves managing audits, risk reviews, and vendor risk, while embedding security across the organization and driving initiatives to completion with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in information security, cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or related experience.
• Experience managing cybersecurity programs, audits, risk assessments, or compliance initiatives.
• Experience working with external vendors, MSPs, and consulting partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Cybersecurity Program and roadmap with CTO and vCISO, aligning with goals.
• Lead initiatives from planning through completion with timelines and reporting.
• Serve as the primary contact for audits, assessments, regulatory reviews, and tests.
• Manage remediation of findings and ensure NYDFS/NIST controls compliance.
• Collaborate with vCISO on due diligence and risk reviews for vendors.
• Maintain cybersecurity policies, governance, and risk documentation.
• Lead organization-wide cybersecurity awareness and phishing training.
