Grameen America, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead and mature its security program in partnership with a vCISO. The role coordinates audits, vendor risk, and regulatory compliance while driving cybersecurity initiatives across technical and business teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cybersecurity, project management experience, and knowledge of NYDFS/NIST controls. This hybrid NYC role requires residency in the NY tri-state area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (InfoSec, Cybersecurity, CS, IT).
• At least 5 years in cybersecurity, information security, risk or related field.
• Experience managing cybersecurity programs, audits, risk assessments or compliance.
• Experience working with external vendors, MSPs and consulting partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the Information Security and Cybersecurity Program with CTO and vCISO.
• Lead initiatives from planning through completion with timelines and reporting.
• Coordinate audits, regulatory reviews, and penetration tests; manage remediation.
• Maintain policies, risk register, and governance documentation.
• Lead security awareness and phishing training across the organization.
