Job summary

Gunnison Consulting Group is seeking an experienced cybersecurity program manager in Bethesda, MD, with hybrid work arrangements. The role interfaces with CIT COR and CISO, delivering reporting, governance, and strategic recommendations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing cybersecurity programs, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and PMP/CISSP/ITIL certifications. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits as part of a broad compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience managing cybersecurity, IT security, RMF, or enterprise IT programs.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in cybersecurity, information assurance, information systems, computer science, computer engineering, network engineering, or related technical field.
• PMP, CISSP, and ITIL certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the CIT COR and CISO and provide program-level reporting (Weekly/Montly/Invoices).
• Lead Cybersecurity Governance activities including meetings, agendas, action items, risks, and schedules.
• Support OCIO working groups and cross-agency cybersecurity coordination.
• Provide Strategic Support and contribute to ISP Strategic Plans and quarterly recommendations.
• Own Program Support tasks and administer the ISP SharePoint site (content lifecycle, access, organization).
• Manage Special Projects and coordinate surge staffing.
• Supervise contract personnel and oversee performance and attendance.
• Manage SOPs and Enterprise Templates and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Propose and manage SLAs for cybersecurity services.
