Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Orlando to lead cybersecurity engineering, compliance, and remediation initiatives across distributed environments. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including cybersecurity engineers, system administrators, and compliance professionals to ensure successful project delivery.

You will translate assessments and controls into actionable tasks, manage backlogs and roadmaps, and drive delivery while aligning with NIST and CMMC requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects.
• Ability to translate findings into clearly defined tasks and owners.
• Experience coordinating sprint planning and reviews.
• Proven track record delivering complex programs across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technical cybersecurity and compliance projects across multiple programs, systems, and locations.
• Build and manage integrated project plans, technical roadmaps, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Manage a prioritized backlog of cybersecurity engineering and compliance activities based on changing program milestones and operational needs.
• Coordinate technical activities involving system administrators, cybersecurity engineers, architects, compliance teams, program leadership, and external partners.
• Translate cybersecurity assessments, NIST controls, compliance gaps, and technical findings into actionable engineering tasks and project plans.
• Track remediation activities, vulnerabilities, control implementation, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) through closure.
• Facilitate sprint planning, technical reviews, architecture reviews, status meetings, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Establish clear ownership, due dates, acceptance criteria, escalation paths, and reporting processes for technical deliverables.
• Monitor project health and communicate progress, risks, blockers, resource needs, and decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate work across geographically dispersed environments and help standardize repeatable processes, templates, requirements, and checklists.
• Support the integration of security metrics, queries, dashboards, and reporting processes with enterprise management tools.
• Coordinate operational handoff of security processes, dashboards, metrics, documentation, and tracking capabilities to internal teams.
• Ensure project activities remain aligned with applicable NIST and CMMC requirements while keeping the team focused on delivery and measurable outcomes.
