LJW Solutions is working in partnership with a prestigious Am Law Top 50 law firm seeking an experienced Cybersecurity & Privacy Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Litigation & Trial Practice Group in Washington, D.C.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney to join a nationally recognised practice advising sophisticated clients on complex cybersecurity incidents, data privacy matters, breach investigations and crisis management.

The successful candidate will work alongside leading practitioners on high-profile, commercially significant matters involving evolving cybersecurity threats and regulatory challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients on cybersecurity, data privacy and information security matters.
• Assist with complex data breach investigations, incident response and remediation strategies.
• Provide strategic legal advice on privacy compliance, cybersecurity risks and regulatory obligations.
• Support clients through cybersecurity incidents, including crisis management and regulatory investigations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across litigation, regulatory and corporate practice areas.

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years' relevant post-qualification legal experience, ideally gained within a leading US law firm.
• Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Cybersecurity and data protection
• Data breach investigations and incident response
• Privacy law and regulatory compliance
• Crisis management
• Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical capabilities.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and client management skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• An information security background or demonstrable technical expertise would be advantageous.
