Job summary

Sensiba LLP seeks a Cybersecurity Intern for the Penetration Testing Services within the GRC practice. The role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities across networks, apps, and cloud environments, working alongside seasoned testers to deliver client-ready assessments.

The internship emphasizes offensive security fundamentals, risk management, and security testing methodologies while building technical and consulting skills. An on-site week in San Jose is included.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• Graduation expected Spring 2027–Spring 2028; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Fundamentals in networking, operating systems and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management or security testing tools.
• Pursuing Security+ / Network+ / eJPT or similar credentials.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vulnerability assessments and testing engagements.
• Support information gathering and reconnaissance during assessments.
• Document security findings and remediation recommendations.
• Review scan results and assist in risk analysis.
• Research emerging cyber threats and attack techniques.
• Evaluate network, application, and cloud security controls.
• Collaborate with testers and clients to deliver results.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's in Cybersecurity / Computer Science / Computer Engineering

GPA 3.0+ preferred
