Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery seeks an experienced cybersecurity monitoring professional to protect our technology platforms, workstations, servers, and networks in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll monitor, investigate, and respond to threats in real time, lead SOC activities, and mentor analysts while coordinating with executive stakeholders from CIO to CSO. This on-site role requires relocation to Downtown Dallas and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity monitoring or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Cybersecurity encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and investigate in real time the organization’s networks, systems, applications, and databases to protect Oncor internal partners and external customers from security violations.
• Perform cybersecurity investigations per the CSIRP and recommend solutions to management.
• Report metrics, threats, relevant trends, and other topics to the CIO, CSO, and Information Security Officer.
• Lead and train SOC analysts on tools, threats, trends, and intelligence; ensure changes are implemented accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with the Manager on high-priority incidents and keep leadership apprised of regulatory changes.
