Job summary

Qualifications

• A technical 4-year degree in computer science, computer information systems, or engineering is recommended.
• Substantial experience can be substituted.
• 5 or more years of cybersecurity experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of defense regarding cybersecurity operations.
• Monitor security tools and escalate suspicious activity.
• Assist with identifying access management functions.

Skills

Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS and VPNs

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Azure – Entra ID, Defender, Key Vault, Sentinel, Purview

Intermediate knowledge of vulnerability scanning and patch management practices

Knowledge of security operational procedures and processes – SecOps

5 or more years cybersecurity experience

Education

Technical 4-year degree in computer science or engineering

Tools

SIEM systems – Sumo Logic, Splunk, ELK Stack

PC, VPN, MS Office, Atlassian Confluence & Jira
