Job summary

Phoenix Cyber is seeking Cybersecurity Engineers to join our client delivery team. You will provide technical expertise in creating innovative security solutions, and you will develop, support, tune and deploy security tools while helping clients strengthen their security posture.

The role requires a STEM degree or 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of security operations and incident response, and certifications such as CySA or CEH; a security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or related field and/or 5+ years of experience
• Experience in Security Operations and Incident Response
• Strong understanding of security operations processes
• Certifications such as CySA or CEH
• Security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in cybersecurity solutions
• Develop, support, tune and deploy security solutions
• Creates WAF rules to mitigate threats and implement security best practices
• Develop and enhance SIEM content including correlations, dashboards, reports, and alerts
• Develop and implement automations in response to security incidents
• Collaborate in a fast-paced cross-functional team
