Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/SE/IT; or equivalent mix of associate degree, military, or experience with cybersecurity certs (CISSP, GIAC, MCSE, CEH, GICSP, CSSA, CISM) will be considered.
• Minimum: 3 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Preferred: at least 2 years hands-on experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused with initiative.
• Keep current on software/hardware security threats.
• Understand RMF and NIST CSF (800-53).

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals.
• Prioritize tasks and projects to meet deadlines and allocate resources.
• Protect information and operations from disruption and disclosure.
• Design and build secure IT systems following reference architectures and standards.
• Perform threat analysis to determine usefulness for intelligence.
• Analyze information from devices to identify vulnerabilities and exploit potential.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigations.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures for compliance.
• Keep leadership informed with threat assessments and dashboards.
• Plan and execute incident response and postmortems with measurable benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain the incident response plan.
• Lead IDS monitoring and analysis, monitoring 24x7 security events.
• Create security awareness materials and training sessions.
