Qualifications

• . Bachelor's degree required.
• . 3 years related work experience, including one year of supervisory experience.
• . Advanced knowledge of network architecture, including firewalls, and integration of enterprise security stacks (SIEM, EDR, IAM) to ensure 100% visibility across hybrid environments.
• . Proven expertise leading high-stakes containment efforts and overseeing digital forensic investigations.
• . Advanced proficiency mapping adversary behavior to the MITRE ATT&CK framework to validate detection strategies.
• . Extensive experience architecting the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle and translating technical debt into remediation plans.
• . Proficiency maintaining SOC KPIs (MTTR/MTTD) and managing third-party SOC/SIEM providers.
• . Experience monitoring AI/ML workloads, shadow IT, and API integrations; knowledge of AI threat detection frameworks.
• . Ability to present executive risk briefings and balance security with institutional needs.
• . ITIL Foundation level certification or above is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Security Operations team.
• Manage hiring, development, and resources to maintain 24/7 operational readiness.
• Oversee day-to-day security monitoring and response, ensuring performance standards.
• Serve as primary incident leader for major security events and coordinate across teams and leadership.
• Lead PIRs and RCA sessions to drive architectural improvements and updated playbooks.
• Maintain operational integrity of EDR, IAM, and SIEM stacks with 100% visibility.
• Oversee vulnerability management lifecycles and patch coordination with IT teams.
• Manage third-party security providers and ensure SLA adherence.
• Establish and report Security Operations KPIs and threat trend briefings.
• Stay current on global threats and regulatory requirements; advise leadership.
