Job summary

Grove US LLC in Oklahoma is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support the Enterprise Cybersecurity team with security operations, compliance, threat investigation, vulnerability management, and project work.

You will gain hands-on experience by monitoring threats, assisting with digital forensics, assisting with policy management, and collaborating with technical and business teams to improve security processes.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at an accredited college pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Interest in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, digital forensics, vulnerability management, or information-security compliance.
• Foundational understanding of computer systems, networks, security principles, or related technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, initiative, and follow-through.
• Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., during the Summer 2027 internship period.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring, investigating, and documenting cybersecurity threats and alerts.
• Support threat-hunting activities to identify risks and suspicious activity.
• Contribute to vulnerability-management efforts, tracking remediation, and maintaining documentation.
• Assist with digital-forensics activities under the guidance of cybersecurity professionals.
• Support cybersecurity compliance and policy-management initiatives.
• Help troubleshoot cybersecurity software and related technical issues.
• Analyze information and document findings, recommendations, procedures, and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand cybersecurity needs.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation opportunities, and other cybersecurity projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges and present project recommendations or deliverables at the conclusion of the internship.
