The United States Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking an IT Branch Manager - Security Operations to lead a 20–40 person cybersecurity team. This role ensures continuous 24/7 detection, response, and threat-hunting across CSOC, IR, and threat-hunt functions, reporting to the Deputy CISO.

Hybrid work requires 2–3 days onsite weekly; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and operate within US government security guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Eight years of progressively responsible experience in IT/cybersecurity with six years in leadership.
• Experience leading SOC, IR, or threat hunt functions at management level.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CISSP/CISM preferred.

• Direct 20–40 CSOC, IR, and threat hunt professionals; set performance standards.
• Oversee 24/7 detection, monitoring, incident response, and post‑incident review.
• Define threat hunt roadmap; align security operations with risk management goals.
• Develop and enforce security policies, SOPs, and budgets; manage vendor relations.
