Qualifications

• Fundamentals of cybersecurity (CIA triad, threat vectors).
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
• Basic Windows and Linux security concepts.
• Understanding OWASP Top 10 and app security basics.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools.
• Analyze and respond to security incidents.
• Support vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
• Help maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Perform basic threat analysis and elevate incidents as required.
• Assist with access control, IAM, and user security management.
• Support endpoint, network, and application security initiatives.
• Work closely with senior security engineers and SOC teams.
• Participate in security audits and compliance activities.
