Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity and threat vectors.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs).
• Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
• Understanding of Windows and Linux security basics.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and basic application security.
• Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools.
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
• Support vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
• Help maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Perform basic threat analysis and escalate incidents as needed.
• Assist with access control, IAM, and user security management.
• Support endpoint, network, and application security initiatives.
• Work closely with senior security engineers and SOC teams.
• Participate in security audits and compliance activities.
