Job summary

Kairos Power is seeking an IT Security Analyst II to strengthen security, monitoring, and compliance of a multi-site, hybrid IT environment. You will perform security operations, incident response, and control administration across on‑premises and SaaS platforms, collaborating with IT and business teams to mitigate risks.

The role requires hands‑on security operations experience in regulated or enterprise environments, with familiarity of frameworks like NIST 800‑171 and ISO 27001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 4+ years in IT security or cybersecurity operations.
• Hands-on analysis of security events using SIEM and EDR tools.
• Experience with identity, access, and endpoint security technologies.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, or similar standards.
• Professional security certifications are preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments or government contracting is a plus.
• Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks, systems, cloud, and SaaS for security incidents.
• Configure systems to enterprise SIEM and validate log collection.
• Investigate alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and IAM; escalate as needed.
• Contain and remediate security incidents with coordinated action.
• Perform vulnerability management activities and track remediation.
• Collaborate with IT to address security risks across domains.
