Job summary

BCMC is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide onsite incident response for civilian agencies and critical asset owners.

We seek a motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain lab network infrastructure, ensure security, and support VPN/VDI environments. The role emphasizes collaboration across physical locations, experience with Cisco/NetApp and virtualization tools, and formal DoD compliance.

Qualifications

• BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree; or HS Diploma and 7+ years network administration, network engineering or systems administration experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
• Experience with multiple OS including Linux/Unix and MacOS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions
• Integrate new technologies in lab environments and SOPs
• Assess network topology and vulnerabilities
• Support VPNs and VDI (Citrix, VMware)
• Troubleshoot a broad range of network issues
• Implement access controls and backups
• Diagnose storage/network issues across LAN/WAN
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls and IP audits
• Ensure performance and security across networks
• Enforce policies and monitor systems
