Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent
• Experience supporting cybersecurity monitoring, security engineering, or enterprise security-tool environments
• Experience evaluating configuration, connectivity, coverage, or operational status of cybersecurity tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cybersecurity-tool or infrastructure problems across multiple teams
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, NIST guidance, or related standards

Responsibilities

• Monitor DHRA cybersecurity posture using mandated tools and capabilities
• Support Tier 3 and shared Tier 2 monitoring and troubleshooting with CSSPs
• Validate tool configuration, operability, connectivity, data rollups, and updates
• Assess deployment and operation of cybersecurity capabilities across DHRA systems
• Identify gaps and report coverage against asset inventories
• Open and coordinate technical tickets through resolution with stakeholders
• Develop corrective action plans and get-well strategies for deficiencies
• Document corrective actions and verify resolution
• Develop measurable monitoring metrics for leadership visibility
• Analyze trends to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities
• Recommend tool enhancements or process changes based on findings
• Document baseline changes and maintain TTPs for monitoring
• Support security scanning, mitigation, compliance checks, and system troubleshooting
• Review work products for accuracy and compliance with standards
