Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to partner with business and technology leadership. Align security strategy with business goals and regulatory requirements across product development and operations to protect assets, data and patients.

This onsite role in IL/MN requires 10–12 years in security, a BS in a related field, CISM, and experience with NIST/ISO/SOX/GDPR/HIPAA/FDA. Base pay ranges from $113,300 to $226,700, with travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience with mastery in at least two security domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of General Computer Controls including information security and operations.
• Strong communication skills across cross-functional groups and peer reviews.
• Familiar with NIST/ISO/SOX/GDPR/HIPAA/FDA frameworks and familiar with regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Guide business units and teams to meet program requirements enabling the business.
• Develop strategies, policies, and standards to protect information and assets.
• Attend project meetings as cybersecurity SME to guide secure practices.
• Stay current with regulatory, privacy, and industry guidance.
• Design a risk-based cybersecurity program aligning with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance across jurisdictions where Abbott operates.
• Contribute to cyber tool design for automated discovery and remediation.
• Familiarity with AI governance, data governance, and tech risk management.
