Job summary

CAE USA is seeking an IT Specialist (Programmer/Operator) to support the IT Lead in maintaining central network servers, end‑user workstations, and desktop applications within a CAE training systems environment. This role manages hardware, software, cloud services, cybersecurity controls, data management, and scheduling tools while ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and enforcing IAM, MFA and RBAC for cloud and on-prem systems.
• Proven ability to implement security controls (IDS/IPS, SIEM) and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, SharePoint) and DoD cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud environments (SharePoint, CloudOne, AWS) per NIST/ISO 27001/FedRAMP.
• Administer systems connected to secure government networks and enforce cybersecurity requirements.
• Configure IAM, MFA, RBAC for cloud and on‑prem systems.
• Implement and monitor security controls and conduct vulnerability assessments and incident response.
• Maintain learning platforms, scheduling apps, and inventory databases.
• Provide technical guidance on cloud and cybersecurity practices to staff.
