CAE USA Inc. is seeking an IT Specialist (Programmer/Operator) to support the IT Lead in maintaining central network servers, end-user workstations, and applications for a CAE training environment.
You will manage hardware, software, cloud services, cybersecurity controls, data management, and scheduling tools, ensuring compliance with security standards and DoD requirements.

**Summary**
The IT Specialist (Programmer/Operator) supports the IT Lead in maintaining and operating central network servers, end‑user workstations, and common desktop applications for a CAE training systems environment. This role manages hardware, software, cloud services, cybersecurity controls, data management systems, learning platforms, scheduling and administration tools, and inventory applications. The IT Specialist performs system configuration, security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and technical support while ensuring compliance with applicable security frameworks and Department of Defense (DoD) standards.

Administer systems connected to secure government networks and enforce applicable cybersecurity requirements.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
**Preferred Skills**
Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
**Security Responsibilities**
Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
