Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services in Portland, Maine seeks a Manager of Cybersecurity & Service Desk Operations to lead two critical functions: Cybersecurity and End‑user computing support. You will balance strategy with hands‑on leadership, shaping the security roadmap and building a high‑performing team.

The role requires 7+ years in IT/security leadership, strong communication, and experience in risk management, incident response, and regulatory controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT operations, service desk, cybersecurity, or information security.
• Experience leading 24x7 operations and managing technical teams.
• Experience with cybersecurity risk management, incident response, vulnerability management, and security controls.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID/AD, endpoint management and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of security technologies including endpoint protection, firewalls, email security, logging and threat detection.
• Experience with managed security providers, vendors, and third‑party service partners.
• Ability to balance technical priorities with business objectives and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity and service desk teams to deliver secure, reliable technology services.
• Drive initiatives in risk management, threat monitoring, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee employee technology support, identity and access management, onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Partner with business and cloud operations teams to deliver secure and scalable tech solutions.
• Manage vendors, security partners, budgets, and service expectations.
• Serve as trusted advisor to leadership on cybersecurity and operational risk.
