Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is offering a full-time, 14-week hybrid security internship. The position runs 40 hours per week and can begin May 3–May 10, 2027, concluding August 13–20, 2027, depending on the chosen frame.

You will support the department, maintain clear documentation, monitor security alerts, research threats, assist investigations, create dashboards, and collaborate across teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or recent graduate.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reviewing security alerts.
• Researching emerging cyber threats, assisting with incident investigations
• Documenting procedures and findings, analyzing trends and reports
• Helping test security processes
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions
• Creating dashboards and metrics
• Supporting automation and process improvement efforts
• Collaborating with teams across the organization on security-related initiatives
