Job summary

MITRE invites motivated students to join our cybersecurity internship pool. This program feeds into various internship roles across MITRE, with a focus on real-world security challenges and hands-on experience.

As an intern, you will collaborate with professionals on areas such as Adversary Emulation, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and IoT/Mobile Device Security, while meeting program requirements and maintaining full-time student status for the semester following the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
• Must continue to be enrolled the semester after the internship.
• Foundational knowledge in cybersecurity methodologies, frameworks, tools and/or programming languages.
• Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.
• On-site requirement of 3 days a week minimum.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced professionals in cybersecurity and information security.
• Apply learning to real-world challenges in various areas: Adversary Emulation, Deception, Threat Intelligence, Forensics, Policy, and more.
• Contribute to projects across cybersecurity operations and system engineering.
