Do it Best Corp. in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern for Summer 2027 (May 17–August 13). The role offers hands-on experience within the Information Security team and exposure to enterprise-wide security initiatives.

You will contribute to incident triage, vulnerability management, and collaboration with Applications Development, Infrastructure, Operations, and Support. Local candidates only. This internship is paid hourly.

Reporting to position: Information Security Officer

About the Role

The Information Security Intern will work directly with the Information Security Team to complete both daily tasks and strategic initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on information technology experience and work closely with leaders in multiple divisions across the enterprise.

This is a temporary position beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. This internship is paid on an hourly basis.

No relocation is offered, candidates must be local to the Fort Wayne, Indiana area for the Summer 2027 timeframe.

The Intern may also be able to use this opportunity towards university/college credit.

Responsibilities include

• Incident triage and management using cutting edge prevention and detection technologies
• Analyze network penetration results and formulate remediation plans
• Patch and vulnerability management of workstations and servers
• Assist with current security initiatives which will involve working with Applications Development, Infrastructure, Operations, and Support departments

Education and Experience

• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
• Enthusiastic and motivated, willing to accept a wide variety of challenges
