Job summary

GM Financial, the captive auto-finance arm of General Motors, invites interested cybersecurity students to join a 11-week internship in the Irving, TX area with a flexible hybrid work setup. You will tackle meaningful projects, learn through exposure to industry initiatives, and interact with business leaders.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related areas with at least one semester remaining.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA required.
• Junior or senior classification preferred.
• GM Financial does not provide sponsorship for a work visa status for this position.

Responsibilities

• Participate in stimulating cybersecurity projects and gain exposure to a variety of industry initiatives.
• Present findings to business leaders and communicate effectively.
• Assist in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy and bias and help integrate AI into workflows.
• Collaborate on independent and team projects to deliver results.
