Job summary

GM Financial invites students to join a Cybersecurity internship program designed to tackle complex business problems and gain exposure to industry initiatives. This position emphasizes innovation, teamwork, and the application of AI-enabled tools in daily workflows.

interns will participate in 11 weeks (May 26–August 6, 2027), with networking opportunities, independent and team projects, and potential pathways to full-time roles while operating in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related areas with at least one semester remaining
• Must possess a minimum 3.0 GPA overall
• Junior or senior classification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives protecting confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data
• Support Information Security and Cybersecurity frameworks
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical leadership
• Work independently or in a team and prioritize tasks
