Job summary

WoodmenLife is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern for Summer 2027 in Omaha, NE. The role offers hands-on exposure to planning, designing, and implementing security controls while supporting daily operational tasks and research to improve security outcomes.

You will collaborate with leadership and engineers, assist with audits and automation, and participate in intern cohort activities and mentorship to build skills for a meaningful career in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field(s).
• Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Ability to work 38.75 hours per week
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Growth mindset with DevSecOps orientation

Responsibilities

• Enhance WoodmenLife security posture by providing insights and recommendations for security measures.
