Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) invites qualified students to join our Security and Information Assurance Division for a 2027 summer cybersecurity internship in North Logan, Utah. You will work on real-world projects, perform system assessments, and learn to apply NIST guidance while building accreditation packages.

Selected interns gain hands-on experience with vulnerability tools, SIEMs, and enterprise cyber management concepts, with potential for continued employment and security-clearance

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or related technical field.
• Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vulnerability assessments and systems auditing.
• Help build accreditation packages and collect artifact evidence.
• Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM).
• Learn and apply enterprise cybersecurity concepts and governance frameworks.
