Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of related industry experience.
• Current Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses (day, evening, and online) in the Computer Technologies Department; teaches 18–21 hours per week.
• Performs administrative and recordkeeping duties: evaluations, lesson plans, syllabi, tests, and resource gathering.
• Prepares reports: attendance, end-of-term, grade reports, etc.
• Advises students, assists with registration, and career readiness activities for cybersecurity students.
• Completes student forms (withdrawals, registration, drop/add, credit by exam) and participates in program reviews/audit.
• Maintains the CAE designation for the IT: Cybersecurity degree program and participates in outreach activities of Pitt Community College Cyber Center.
• Participates in outreach through The Carolina Cyber Network and other initiatives; supports faculty and substitutes for absent instructors.
