Job summary

Macomb Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach Information Technology - Cybersecurity on-site in Clinton Township, MI. The role supports course delivery, maintains learning materials in the College’s LMS, and contributes to accreditation-related activities and course evaluation.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining LMS materials, updating the gradebook, and participating in accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, information technology, or related field; or an associate’s degree with substantial relevant work experience and credential.
• Minimum 3 years information systems security experience in a non-teaching role.
• Networking experience with hands-on networking and security devices/strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in predefined cybersecurity topics as assigned by the department.
• Maintain course materials and gradebook in the LMS, update grades by deadlines.
• Assist with accreditation activities and course evaluation processes.
• Support student clinical or lab experiences as assigned and applicable.
• Maintain faculty credentials as required by accrediting agencies.
