Job summary

All Native Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor to provide stand-up classroom training and virtual training in cybersecurity policy and risk management to a diverse DOS staff and contractors. The incumbent works independently with infrequent supervision and brings a strong foundation in the subject matter.

Qualified instructors will have extensive experience in cybersecurity policy and risk management, and will support both domestic and overseas training delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant technical work experience.
• Three (3) years of teaching or instructional duties are preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in cybersecurity, computer science, or information systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs and presents hands-on instruction, lectures, and briefings on cybersecurity policy and risk management topics.
• Coordinates facilities and classrooms for domestic and overseas training delivery.
• Sets up and operates equipment required in support of curriculum delivery.
• Reviews course documentation and ensures materials are up-to-date.
• Develops and maintains IT/technical syllabi, curriculum, security lesson plans, and trainee manuals.
• Responds to student inquiries related to course content and standards.
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cybersecurity policy and risk management.
• Backfills other instructors as required by the Program Office.
• Travels frequently to support training delivery and program requirements.
