BCG Attorney Search seeks a Cybersecurity Project Attorney with 1-3 years of incident response experience to join our client’s Wheeling, WV office, with consideration for remote work across the US. You will support a dynamic Cybersecurity & Incident Response practice and develop expertise in a rapidly evolving legal area.

You will coordinate incident responses, advise on breach notification obligations, support transactional security matters, and help integrate AI tools into legal practice while

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited institution with US admission to practice.
• 1–3 years of cybersecurity incident response or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve practical problems.
• Familiarity with breach notification laws and incident response workflows.
• Interest in legal tech and AI applications.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate responses to security incidents with legal, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Analyze breach notification laws and advise on obligations and timelines.
• Advise on security aspects of corporate transactions.
• Direct forensic investigations and liaise with vendors.
• Manage regulatory reporting obligations and litigation holds.
• Draft and review incident-related communications.
• Conduct data impact assessments and support post-incident remediation.
• Develop and refine incident response workflows and procedures.
• Integrate technology, including AI, into legal practice.
