Job summary

COLSA Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor and analyze systems, detect incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend corrective actions under the TEAMS-Next ITCM contract. The role emphasizes strong risk mitigation and collaboration with DoD stakeholders.

The candidate will work with eMASS, ACAS, SIEM and other tools, develop executive briefings, and support RMF-related activities for missile defense programs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (or higher) in a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years DoD cyber experience.
• Knowledge demonstrated in cyber and missile defense related or complex large DoD Programs/Projects.
• Active/Current DoD IAM Level I certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Ability to obtain and maintain eMASS Certification within 30 days of hire date.
• U.S. Citizenship required; Active DoD SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements to develop project schedules and milestones.
• Exercise sound judgment when evaluating courses of action.
• Conduct quality control assessments to maintain high standards.
• Develop and deliver executive briefings tailored for senior leadership.
• Use online research and analytical tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to track progress, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Operate within the eMASS environment to document security controls and maintain continuous monitoring compliance.
• Advise the customer on improvements to policies and procedures.
• Perform quality control of Prime contractor tasks and artifacts.
• Demonstrate knowledge of RMF, CNDF, and Vulnerability Management.
• Train and develop junior staff.
