Job summary

Lafayette Group is seeking an experienced graphic designer to support federal clients with a focus on cybersecurity messaging. You will create print and digital products and collaborate with project leads to understand program needs and promote key messages related to cybersecurity programs and solutions.

The role requires strong design skills, the ability to interpret technical content, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a hybrid Northern VA environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in art, graphic design, IT, media or related field.
• 3+ years of graphic design experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide graphic design for a client’s external affairs organization to support cybersecurity outreach.
• Collaborate with team members to develop visual marketing and communications products.
• Create visually compelling graphics, PowerPoint presentations, posters, fact sheets, and report layouts using industry-standard software.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible infographics or visuals.
• Ensure products meet 508 compliance when applicable.
• Maintain brand consistency and adhere to client style guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines and respond to rapid turn requests.
• Perform routine administrative tasks and craft narratives to propose graphic concepts.
• Build strong relationships with team members and clients.
