Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering in Southlake, TX to lead the cybersecurity baselines and configurations across the enterprise. You will provide technical leadership, mentor the security team, and guide projects spanning on-prem and cloud environments.

You will partner with auditors and stakeholders to validate controls, drive secure architectures, and ensure compliant, documented processes. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Ten (10)+ years of advanced networking hardware and software support.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with EDR/MSSP platforms (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Trellix).
• Proven ability to diagnose, resolve, and document technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning, evaluation and risk analysis for cybersecurity programs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Cyber Security Team.
• Develop and maintain hardening standards for operating systems.
• Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders to address concerns and ensure compliance.
• Document processes to standardize end-user experience.
