Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a senior Network Security Engineer to plan, supervise and direct the Cybersecurity Technology Engineering (CTE) team. You will collaborate with managers to define the strategic vision and provide leadership on security controls to protect NFCU's data and IT assets.

You will oversee firewall and IDS/IPS operations, drive risk assessments, and ensure compliant, high-quality security practices.

Competenze

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer (10 years preferred).
Significant experience with Palo Alto and/or Check Point Firewalls.
Experience with Cisco ISE.
Significant experience in large enterprise security operations centers or IT operations, preferably in a large financial institution.
Expert knowledge of cyber/information security systems engineering lifecycle.

Oversee architecture, engineering and operations for CTE network security solutions.
Manage daily operations for firewalls, NPS, and IDS/IPS.
Provide vision to ensure efficient daily operations.
Standardize network security policy management.
Escalation source for on-call engineers.
Assess current tech to identify risk and controls.
Oversee vulnerability and threat assessments and reporting.
Identify and resolve operational gaps and implement improvements.
Ensure work quality aligns with business goals and member service.
