PTR Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Vulnerability Management in Fort Worth, TX. This onsite role (3 days onsite) requires deep technical expertise to align security initiatives with business goals and drive successful delivery.

You will lead vulnerability programs, oversee SOC operations, and design incident response protocols while coordinating with senior leadership and stakeholders. Onsite interview required and benefits are included for full-time consultants.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years experience in Vulnerability Management.
• 3–5 years experience in Cybersecurity engineering.
• 3–5 years of SDLC experience designing, developing and implementing large-scale applications.
• 3–5 years of professional design and open-source experience.

Job Description

• Engineer- Vulnerability Management – Work closely with senior leadership project managers and stakeholders to align cybersecurity initiatives with corporate objectives and ensure successful project delivery.
• Clearly convey project risks and strategies to senior management and stakeholders ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and regulations providing regular reports on security practices and compliance to stakeholders.
• Oversee the integration of physical security measures with cybersecurity protocols to ensure comprehensive protection and monitoring of our infrastructure.
• Effectively coordinate resources and manage project progress addressing issues and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies for secure communication protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity cybersecurity systems.
• Oversee the operations of the SOC ensuring it is equipped with the latest tools technologies and processes to effectively monitor and respond to security threats.
• Communicate critical security operations risks strategies and incident statuses to executive leadership and prepare detailed performance reports with insights on compliance effectiveness and KPIs.
• Develop and implement strategies and governance frameworks for security operations ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals within the security operations domain fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through targeted training and development opportunities.
• Oversee and guide the planning execution and delivery of cybersecurity projects and initiatives ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Design and execute advanced threat detection and incident response protocols ensuring rapid identification containment and remediation of security incidents.

Top Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Technology Information Systems CIS/MIS Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience/training
• 3 to 5 years experience in Vulnerability Management
• 3 to 5 Years experience in Cybersecurity engineering
• 3 to 5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle SDLC experience designing developing and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
• 3 to 5 years of professional design and open-source experience

  Pay rate : $50/hr- $55/hr

  The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
