Job summary

OBE is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise security controls across identity, endpoints, email, network, and cloud. The role emphasizes monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and coordination with IT/OT teams to strengthen security posture while supporting business objectives.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity leadership, systems, and external providers to translate findings into practical remediation and ongoing improvements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or related roles.
• Experience implementing security controls across identity, endpoint, email, network, cloud, monitoring, and response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across multiple domains.
• Monitor alerts, perform triage, and escalate as needed with clear remediation notes.
• Lead incident response support, investigations, and timelines.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
• Support OT-adjacent security enablement with IT/OT teams.
• Review third-party security provider activities and ensure QA.
• Develop runbooks and security documentation; drive continuous improvements.
