Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join the USCYBERCOM team. The role is on-site at Fort Meade, MD, and involves applying cyber engineering concepts, RMF policy knowledge, and conducting independent research to recommend security mechanisms.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in cybersecurity, IAM Level I, and TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. US citizenship is required and a discretionary bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with cybersecurity and information assurance.
• Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level I Certification.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Possess an in-depth understanding and apply intermediate concepts of cyber engineering and cybersecurity.
• Maintain knowledge of DOD cybersecurity policies and the RMF.
• Conduct cybersecurity research and analysis with minimal guidance and provide recommendations.
