Job summary

Peraton is hiring an ISSO Support Systems Engineer in Jessup, MD to join their Cyber Mission unit. The role entails advising on Information System security and ensuring compliance with security standards. Candidates must have a relevant degree and significant engineering experience, alongside a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• 15 years of systems engineering experience or 19 years with a high school diploma.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Strong experience managing multiple SSPs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal advisor on Information System security.
• Maintain security operations of the system.
• Provide security design guidance throughout the RMF process.

Skills

Strong experience as ISSO

DoD8570 compliance with IAT Level 2 or higher

Communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline

Master’s degree or PhD in relevant field
