Job summary

Flow Control Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve security technologies and processes. The role focuses on protecting users, systems, applications, and data with a modern security stack.

You will manage platforms like CrowdStrike Falcon, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Okta, Proofpoint, ThreatLocker, Zscaler, and MDR services, and support day-to-day detection and response lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with several of the listed security technologies
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts
• Support Microsoft 365 and Azure security initiatives
• Administer identity and access controls, including MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access
• Develop security standards, procedures, and documentation
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen security posture and compliance
