Flow Control Group, a leading North American fluid handling and automation provider, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Information Security team in Charlotte, NC. You will design, implement, and continuously improve security controls to protect users, systems, data, and applications.

You will manage security platforms, respond to incidents, and collaborate with IT teams to strengthen our security posture while adhering to NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years in cybersecurity or security engineering.
• Hands-on with listed security technologies.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, incident response, vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, PCI DSS.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize security platforms (CrowdStrike Falcon, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Okta, Proofpoint, ThreatLocker, Zscaler).
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Azure security initiatives.
• Administer identity and access controls (MFA, SSO, CA).
• Develop security standards, procedures, documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen security posture and compliance.
