Job summary

Torch Technologies invites qualified candidates for a Cybersecurity Engineer (ISSO) Journeyman position in Kettering, OH, near the Dayton area. The role focuses on applying RMF, CSF, and NIST standards to protect DoW IT assets while coordinating with the defense program offices.

Applicants should hold a related degree and cybersecurity certifications, be eligible for a DoW/AFI-compliant role, and be prepared for an onsite work environment with a fixed schedule.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant DoW experience, or seven years with proper certifications.
• Experience performing cybersecurity duties per DoW/AFI guidance and ISCM processes.
• Must possess and maintain a T3/Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity support per DoDI 8500.01 and RMF/CSF/NIST standards.
• Monitor and enforce enterprise cybersecurity policies and configurations.
• Coordinate with ISSM, SCA, and Wing Cybersecurity office on changes and patches.
• Respond to security incidents and ensure proper documentation and continuous monitoring.
